Even though I am very tired of stick movies, I liked your style. So i'd suggest you add some flesh to those sticks and you'll get even higher marks.
For the preloader, make your own. Create 4 identical frames and in the first one input this code:

loaded = getBytesLoaded();
total = getBytesTotal();
if (loaded == total) {
gotoAndPlay (4);
}
pc = int(100*loaded/total)+"%";

In the third frame write:
gotoAndPlay (1);

And in the fourth frame add a stop action and create a button to Start the movie.
